Q: What Is Self-Storage?

A: Self-Storage is an easy and flexible storage solution. You only pay for the space you need and the length of time you use it. Our Hampshire-based clean, dry and secure storage units range from 37.5 sq ft units to 300 sq ft.

Our Self-Storage is ideal for when you are moving home, travelling abroad, de-cluttering or creating more space at your existing property. Self-Storage is also perfect storage solution for your business - get the right size of storage space for your needs without being tied into a lease or long-term rental agreement.

Q: Where is your self-storage centre?

A: Our secure warehouse is based near Aldershot, on the Hampshire/ Surrey border; offering easy access to the M3, M4 and M25, Reading, Guildford, Southampton, South Coast, Surrey and Greater London.

Q: Will by possessions be safe?

A: Our Self-Storage centres are protected by the latest state-of-the-art 24x7 CCTV and police-monitored security systems – for your total peace of mind. Only you or your authorised representative can access your self-storage unit.

Q: Is it possible to view the storage units before I rent?

A: Yes, it is always advisable to view any storage facility for your own peace of mind.

Q: How do I book a storage room?

A: Simply call us free on 0800 917 1015, click on ‘reserve me a storage unit’ on this website or simply pay us a visit.

Q: How much notice do I need to give you?

A: None! You may call and store today if you wish. You CAN reserve a self-storage unit at no charge.

Q: How do I get my items to your storage centre?

A: Although our storage facility is popular with those wanting direct access to their contents, we can supply an Over’s removal vehicle and porters to collect your goods. Please call us on 0800 243 433 for a quotation. We can also bring the units to your house for you to fill; alternatively you can hire a van should you wish to move the items to our storage warehouse yourself.

Q: Are there any stealth charges?

A: No, all you pay for is the weekly storage unit rental. No additional charges are made for heating, lighting, local authority rates etc.

Q: Are my goods covered?

A: Yes, our rates are fully inclusive of liability cover including fire risk.

Q: How do I work out how many units I need?

A: Simply call us free on 0800 917 1015 and we’ll be happy to advise you.

Q: What is the best way to pack my storage unit?

A: Place heavier and larger items on the floor and stack lighter boxes etc on top of these. Remember to put items you may need close to the door for easier access. If you require furniture protectors – we can supply these at a discounted rate.

Q: Do you charge when I access my storage unit?

A: You can come and go as often as you please free of charge, within normal working hours.

Q: What are your opening hours?

A: Our storage facilities are open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday inclusive, 8am to 5pm on Saturdays. Sunday access is by special appointment only. However we do have some 24 hour 7-day access storage units – please ask for details.

Q: What is the minimum or maximum storage period?

A: You can rent a storage unit for as short or as long period as you require, the minimum is one week. If you require storage on a long term basis, then we will be willing to offer you a loyalty discount.

Q: What paperwork is needed?

A: All we need you to do is sign a simple Storage agreement and provide us with a copy of photo identity.

Q: Do you supply cartons and packing materials?

A: Yes, we have a wide selection of boxes, wardrobe cartons, bubble wrap, packing paper available online.

Q: Do you have forklift facilities?

A: Yes, we have forklift and trained operatives to unload pallets. There is NO charge for this facility.

Q: Can you receive items on my behalf?

A: Yes, we can accept deliveries for you in your absence.

Q: Are there any items I cannot store?

A: You cannot store any perishable, inflammable or illegal items. Lawnmowers, motorcycles etc. must be drained of fuel and oil prior to storing.

Q: What are your payment methods?

A: You can pay be cash, cheque, debit or credit card (over the telephone if you wish). Alternatively we can arrange a standing order from your bank.

Q: Do you provide car-parking facilities?

A: Yes our Hampshire-based self-storage Centre has free parking spaces for your car or van.
